I usually work with silk for these scarves, although I have experimented with other materials recently when making headscarves - to ensure they feel flexible enough to tie up hair.  The full length scarf can be decorated with deep velvety tones or higher metallic colours, depending on taste.  All scarves can be made to measure on request.
